Industrial design, as we at Formartis intend it, is not limited to mechanical design, but stretches to a wider concept.
Put simply, our job consists in delivering a finished project and this includes all steps required to turn a sketch into reality. In other words, starting from a first concept, an idea, we study all its possible aspects-materials, selection/design of the single parts or elements, future maintenance etc. until we define a final project and its feasibility. Therefore industrial design is not limited to a drawing of a component, the shape of a part or the definition of a machine, but rather it entails conceiving a system in both its entirety and fine detail, in the attempt to achieve the highest functional efficiency possible.
